Fresh Whole Fruit
Fresh whole fruit is actually your friend. Now, before you go screaming to the hills about the sugar that some of these fruit may contain, don’t turn a blind eye to the other nutrients that come with them. Golfers need to be high in stamina—especially if you are walking from one hole to another.
Certain whole fruits can give you the burst of energy that your body needs. Avoid the coffee and use the natural pep that fruit juices and even whole fruit can provide you.
Grilled Meat with Some Veggies
Carbs and protein are an important part of any golfer’s diet. Now, this does not mean that you should be stuffing your face with bread and steak. You will have to consider what sort of grilled meat you choose. You can go with grilled chicken, meat, or even fish!
As for the veggies, going with greens are always a good choice. This will mean that you are clearing your body out and instating a healthy digestion process so you won’t have a sudden urge to answer number 2 when you’re out on the green.
